Being a dog mom.
You know, it's hard to put into words just how much Vilk, my amazing German Shepherd, has changed my life. From the moment he came into it, everything shifted, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Vilk is like a whirlwind, full of energy and enthusiasm, and he quickly became my rock. We've been through so much together in just over a year - traveling thousands of miles, experiencing different climates and terrains, and making countless memories.
Vilk has this infectious joy that's so contagious, and he reminds me to live in the present, to smile more, and to find joy in the little things.
But amidst all the excitement, it's equally important for me to authentically share the highs and lows of what truly is the most incredible journey of my life - being a dog mom. I want to be open and genuine about our experiences, as we navigate this fulfilling ride hand in paw.
The initial challenges.
Truth be told, raising Vilk hasn't been without its challenges. People doubted my decision to get a high-energy working line German Shepherd, but my commitment to him has never wavered.
